I am Mohammed Rafeeq, an actor with 8 years of professional theatre experience. I have also acted in multiple short films and a web series titled "Achievers." My background in theatre has helped me develop a strong foundation in performance, character work, and storytelling, which I bring into every project I am part of.I was trained at Bhoomika Theatre Group under the guidance of Udaya Bhanu Gharikapati, and I have further honed my craft by attending intensive workshops conducted by Pankaj Kapoor and his team at Ravindra Bharathi. Theatre has been the core of my artistic journey, shaping my understanding of character, voice, movement, and storytelling. I have performed in several notable theatre productions including The Audition – Raja Oedipus, Kundeti Kommu, Charandas, Dibba Desham Dataka, Baribattala Raja , Nanga Raja , and Kundeti Kommu. Alongside theatre, I have worked in short films, web series, and feature films such as Breaking News, Pravaaham, Ghanshyama Sundhara, Plus Size, and multiple short films including The Portal, It’s Me, Toxic, and Indian. I have also gained experience as an Assistant Director in films, TV serials, and theatre, worked as a production manager, and currently mentor students at Bhoomika Theatre’s training program. My passion lies in performance, storytelling, and contributing meaningfully to both stage and screen.
