C. Prem Kumar is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and cinematographer predominantly working in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. He gained widespread critical acclaim and commercial success for his directorial debut, the Tamil romantic drama '96' (2018), which he also wrote. He later directed its Telugu remake, 'Jaanu' (2020).
