About

Manchu Manoj Kumar, born on May 20, 1983, is an Indian actor predominantly working in Telugu cinema. He began his career as a child artist, appearing in films like 'Major Chandrakanth' (1993). He made his debut as a leading actor with 'Donga Dongadi' in 2004. Over his career, he has starred in a diverse range of films, gaining critical acclaim for his role in 'Vedam' (2010), for which he received a Filmfare nomination. His notable commercial successes include 'Bindaas' (2010), which earned him the Nandi Special Jury Award, 'Potugadu' (2013), and 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda' (2014). Known for his energetic performances and experimental choices, Manoj took a sabbatical from acting after 2017, returning in 2023 with the announcement of his film 'What The Fish'. Beyond acting, he is also involved in social work through the Manoj Kumar's Unity Foundation.
