About

M. S. Raju is an eminent Indian film producer, director, and screenwriter primarily working in Telugu cinema. He founded and owns the renowned film production company Sumanth Art Productions. Raju holds the distinction of being the first producer to win three consecutive Filmfare Awards South for Best Film – Telugu, a feat achieved with his successful productions 'Okkadu' (2003), 'Varsham' (2004), and 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana' (2005). His extensive filmography includes other commercially successful ventures such as 'Sathruvu' (1991), 'Devi' (1999), 'Manasantha Nuvve' (2001), and 'Nee Sneham' (2002). His father, Rayaparaju, was also a film producer, inspiring M. S. Raju's entry into the industry, which he debuted with 'Manavadostunnadu' in 1987. In recent years, he has also taken on directorial roles for films like 'Vaana', 'Tuneega Tuneega', 'Dirty Hari', '7 Days 6 Nights', and 'Malli Pelli', often launching his son Sumanth Ashwin in lead roles.
