Vishnu Manchu is a prominent Indian actor, film producer, and educationalist, primarily known for his extensive work in Telugu cinema. He began his acting journey as a child artist in 'Ragile Gundelu' (1985) before making his lead debut in 'Vishnu' (2003), for which he received the Filmfare Best Male Debut award. His career gained significant momentum with the commercially successful film 'Dhee' (2007), followed by other notable performances in movies such as 'Dhenikaina Ready' (2012), 'Doosukeltha' (2013), and the critically acclaimed 'Rowdy' (2014). Beyond his acting career, Vishnu Manchu is a successful entrepreneur and a dedicated educationalist. He oversees the Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust, founded by his father Mohan Babu, and is the founder and chairman of New York Academy and Spring Board Academy/International Preschools. Since 2022, he has served as the pro-chancellor of Mohan Babu University. Additionally, he is the co-owner of the film production house 24 Frames Factory and the head of the post-production company ThinkSmart. In 2021, he was elected as the president of the Movie Artists Association (MAA). His recent works include 'Mosagallu' (2021) and 'Ginna' (2022), and he is currently working on his dream project 'Kannappa' (upcoming).
