Vishnu Vijay is a highly acclaimed Indian music composer and flautist, primarily working in Malayalam cinema. A vocal music graduate from Swathi Thirunal College of Music and mentored by Kudamaloor Janardanan, he began his career as a session flautist, contributing to the works of prominent composers like Devi Sri Prasad, G. V. Prakash Kumar, Santhosh Narayanan, and Amit Trivedi across various South Indian languages. He made his independent debut as a music director with the critically acclaimed 2016 Malayalam film 'Guppy'. Since then, he has consistently delivered popular and critically lauded soundtracks for films like 'Ambili', 'Thallumaala', 'Sulaikha Manzil', and 'Premalu'. His distinctive musical style, characterized by a blend of traditional melodic sensibilities and contemporary arrangements, has earned him several accolades, including multiple Kerala State Film Awards and a National Film Award for Best Music Direction.
