Y. Supriya Chowdary, also known as Supriya Yarlagadda, is a prominent Indian film producer and the Executive Director of Annapurna Studios. Born into the esteemed Akkineni family, she is the granddaughter of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and niece of superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna. She briefly ventured into acting with 'Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi' (1996) before pursuing an MBA in the USA. Supriya then pivoted to the business side of cinema, taking charge of Annapurna Studios' operations. Under her leadership, the studio has produced several successful films, and she was instrumental in establishing the Annapurna International School of Film and Media (AISFM). Her role involves overseeing the studio's production ventures, strategic planning, and fostering new talent within the industry.
