Dil Raju is a prominent Indian film producer and distributor known for his significant contributions to Telugu cinema. Born in Narsingpalli, Telangana, he developed an early passion for films before moving to Hyderabad, where he initially assisted in his family’s automobile business. His entry into the film industry began in the 1990s as a distributor with the successful Telugu film Pelli Pandiri (1997). In 1998, he founded Sri Venkateswara Film Distributors, laying a strong foundation for what would become a highly influential career in South Indian cinema. In 2003, Dil Raju transitioned into film production with the Telugu film Dil under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, a venture that earned him his popular screen name. Over the years, he has produced more than 30 films, many of which achieved both commercial success and critical acclaim. His work has earned him two National Film Awards, solidifying his reputation as one of the leading producers in the industry. Beyond Telugu cinema, he has also financed and produced films in Tamil and Hindi, expanding his influence across multiple Indian film industries.
