K. M. Radha Krishnan is an accomplished Indian music director primarily working in Telugu cinema, renowned for his melodious and soulful compositions. Born in Wanaparthy, he was inspired by his father, K. V. Mohan, a prominent light music singer and stage artist. Radha Krishnan received extensive formal training in Hindustani classical music from Chaganti Lakshmi, Western classical music from Arnold, and Carnatic classical music from Vengamamba, alongside earning a diploma from Hyderabad Music College. He debuted as a background score composer in 2001 with 'Silence Please' and rose to prominence with his highly acclaimed work in Sekhar Kammula's 'Anand' (2004) and 'Godavari' (2006), for which he received the Nandi Award for Best Music Director. His career is marked by collaborations with notable directors like Sekhar Kammula and Krish Jagarlamudi, consistently delivering soundtracks that are both commercially successful and critically appreciated for their musical richness and thematic depth.
