Pranavi Acharya T.K. (born 16 August 1988 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh) is a celebrated Telugu playback singer, television anchor, and dubbing artist. She began her musical journey early—participating in Doordarshan singing competitions, and lending her voice to a film dubbed song as a child. Her breakthrough came with the devotional composition “Shuddha Brahma” from Sri Ramadasu (2006), which marked her debut in playback singing
Trained in both Carnatic and Hindustani classical music, Pranavi has delivered nearly 250 songs across more than 70 Telugu and Tamil films, working with leading music directors like M. M. Keeravani, Devi Sri Prasad, Mani Sharma, Koti, and others . Her notable songs include “Rabbaru Gaajulu” and “Young Yama” (Yamadonga), “Sarigama Padani” (Snehageetham), and tracks from films like Happy Days, Lion, and One Manchu .
She also earned acclaim for her television singing, winning the prestigious Nandi TV Award (Best Female Playback Singer) for title tracks such as "Turpu Velle Railu", and the Bharatamuni Award and Navayuvagalem Award for her song in Yamadonga
Pranavi has openly spoken about facing and standing against sexual harassment early in her career—firmly refusing casting‑couch advances and even threatening to slap a director with her slipper when he insisted on inappropriate favors for work early on
