About

Pruthvi Ambaar embarked on his career as a radio presenter in Mangaluru, where he was known as RJ Nagaraj. During his early days, he also directed and acted in numerous short films. His acting debut came in the Tulu film 'Barke' in 2014, followed by a lead role in the hit Tulu film 'Pilibail Yamunakka' in the same year (though released in 2016). He later transitioned into Kannada cinema with 'Raajaru' (2017) and gained significant recognition for his compelling performance in the Kannada film 'Dia' (2020). Pruthvi has since expanded his acting repertoire, starring in several Tulu and Kannada films, and making his mark in Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil cinema with remakes of 'Dia'.
