Venkatesh Koti, popularly known as Koti, is a distinguished Indian music director, composer, and singer predominantly working in Telugu cinema. Born into a musical lineage as the son of veteran music director S. P. Kodandapani, Koti inherited a deep understanding of music. He rose to prominence as one half of the iconic 'Raj-Koti' duo, who composed for over 150 films between 1982 and the mid-1990s. Their partnership redefined Telugu film music with groundbreaking and commercially successful scores for films like 'Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari'. Following an amicable separation, Koti embarked on a highly successful solo career, starting with the blockbuster 'Pedarayudu' (1995).
