Vijay Deverakonda (born 9 May 1989) is an award-winning Indian actor, producer, and entrepreneur known for his impactful performances in Telugu cinema. He made his acting debut with Nuvvila (2011) and gained early recognition with Yevade Subramanyam (2015). Vijay achieved nationwide fame with the blockbuster films Pelli Choopulu (2016) and Arjun Reddy (2017), the latter earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. He continued to impress audiences with major commercial hits including Mahanati (2018), Geetha Govindam (2018), and Taxiwaala (2018), establishing himself as one of the most influential stars in South Indian cinema. Beyond acting, Vijay is a successful producer and entrepreneur. In 2019, he founded King of the Hill Entertainment, backing films such as Meeku Maathrame Cheptha and Pushpaka Vimanam. He also launched the popular fashion brand Rowdy Wear, now available on Myntra, and co-owns the volleyball team Hyderabad Black Hawks. Known for his honest personality, philanthropic initiatives, and strong fan base, Vijay Deverakonda continues to be one of the most searched, followed, and admired actors in Telugu cinema today.
